David is an experienced policy professional who has overseen legislative efforts throughout the United States. At Converge, he manages client legislative efforts in numerous jurisdictions in industries such as healthcare, technology, and non-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Converge, David was an officer with the Pew Charitable Trusts where he oversaw parts of the Pew Dental Campaign. In that role, he designed, built and managed campaigns to advance complex legislation across the country. An experienced coalition builder, he is known for breaking down partisan barriers and assembling broad based stakeholder groups in support of client needs.
Before taking on the role at Pew, David was the Director of Community Relations for the Florida Sugar Cane League. He began his career as a political field organizer, after which he worked for nearly five years as a legislative analyst for the public policy division of a national law firm.
David holds an undergraduate degree in history from Florida State University.
David lives with his wife Jane and their Saint Bernard named Daisy on the South Shore of Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. On weekends you can find them scouting the best oyster bars in the area. David is still celebrating the Washington Nationals winning the World Series but finds time to cheer on the Capitals.
